Oh right, there's one more. Nizzolo's gonna take it. No really, he is.

Technical Overview:
The usual (recently) final flat parade. There is a little bump in the final circuit but the riders will hardly notice it.

What to expect:
The final parade, of course. And the podium.

Man I didn't realise the route was that side of the river. I guess they have to avoid the tramlines in the centre though.

Look how close they are to Superga :( Giro hasn't been there since the 50s I think

Astana to go crazy from the start.
Well sure, they can try, but they won't catch Uran. He has to win a stage, team orders. He'll enter the finishing straight solo, with tens of seconds in hand. But, he'll ride casually in the middle of the road, taking long lingering looks back down the road, almost oblivious to what's happening right behind him. And suddenly, he gets Trentin'd by Vinokourov who came over the barriers wielding a Venge! Vino takes a final triumphant victory in Astana's best grand tour ever.

The whole peloton to unanimously decide that Kruijswijk is awesome and gift him the stage.

In reality, I could see the break taking it again

Superga was used in the hilly ITT of the 2005 Giro, stage 18.

Superga deserved to see the Giro back just like San Luca in 2009 :)

See the little bump in the circuit. That's where a late attack will get clear and take the win.

That bump isn't that little, so as you say the chance for a late attack is a real possibility.

Well good thing he won, imagine if they would've had to send this back to Specialized unridden.

Raining in Cuneo, possibly heavy rain in Torino which could bring about a neutralization. I'm sure the italians will look after their campione :D

A heap of tired riders left in this race so I wouldn't be remotely surprised if a break or a Kluge style late attack takes it

On another note, when will Eshnar finally start a Giro 2017 route rumours thread? :D

Speaking of which, the Corriere delle Alpi says that the 2017 Giro will feature a MTF on Passo Pordoi.

How does the team classification work in the giro? Time of the first three riders per team? Surely Movistar has to be leading this then with Valverde, Amador and Visconti. Giro site states Astana is leading and Cannondale 2nd. What am I missing?
