If you watched Zakarin's Romandie TT, it was pretty clear that if you only added a bit of rain, he would be crashing multiple times. His bike handling is atrocious.

But it's almost true. Sky just do everything right, they fix every weakness in no time, in a sport where most others struggle to just maintain one single good thing.

That si so untrue ...SKY riders like EBH , Cummings, Konig, etc did not get any better

1) He's put in decent TT's before with nothing at stake.
2) Jersey gives you wings.
3) Parcours suited him.
4) Weather especially suited him too.

But it's almost true. Sky just do everything right, they fix every weakness in no time, in a sport where most others struggle to just maintain one single good thing.

exactly, just look at riders like dombrowski, kiriyenka, boasson hagen, lovkvist, edmondson, kennaugh, nieve, konig. all started really flying at sky

He already said it was sarcasm and it is obvious if you watched Brambillas results this year. He is strong since February

Can't do much about the weather

I'm not talking about the weather, I'm talking about making sure the only longish ITT in the race (the MTT doesn't count) was as much of a gymkhana as possible to minimize gaps and engineer a "close race", the holy grail of modern cycling.

You have climbers such as Hesjedal and more serious threads as Chaves, Zakarin and Kruijswijk, its not bad really. That said, I agree with your take on the time trial today

On a parcours like this, where you want climbers to go from far out, the tt(s) should be flat and not technical. Now, apart from crashes, it accomplished nothing.
