Nibali will benefit the most of this ITT - Valverde & Zaka just right behind him. As far as the stage win, It well be Dumoulin, Nibali, Zaca or Valverde. I might include Rigo, but he's been performing so badly lately that his chances to surprise are very narrow....

BTW - CHAVITO WILL IMPRESS :)

Probably the most important stage for Esteban,I hope he will limit losses well, fingers crossed!

Valverde will be dangerous imo.

Uran will win this ITT

Zaka will take maglia rosa.

Kruiswijk, Nibali, Chaves, Valverde and Majka will finish between 30 seconds from each other.

And fingers crossed for Landa. If he loses less then 2 minutes on the other GC guys, he can win this Giro :)

Damn, that's a lot of turns. Unfortunately it means significant time loss for Majka. Nibali and Valverde should do great. Zakarin, Chaves, Lands are a mystery to me. No clue what to expect. Really exciting!

Haha, Landa > Lands > Landis :)

Wow, I'm gonna say the opposite.

Zakarin willl no way take the pink jersey
Majka will lose time to the other ones you mentioned, especially Nibali and Valverde, if it's only 30 seconds I'll be glad, but then he will lose the time to all of them.
Fingers crossed Landa will lose a lot of time and therefore the chance to win.

so - we'll see, I'll say chapeau if your version wins :)

The weather seems to be playing its part tomorrow. At 13, 14 and 17 Uhr. There is a more than 50 percent chance of rain.

Gianluca Brambilla to hold you unbelievers :p

I've been leaning towards him doing better than expected, too.

Same here, he seems to be alright at this type of tt, but can he recover adequately from today's efforts?

I feel Nibali will do very well and so will valverde. Everyone else I have no idea. If it had a few more straights then it would be perfect for Dumoulin - and I mean perfect, but after today I'm not so sure. Uran should be great but a long time since he performed in a TT.

I am curious where did you take your funny prediction like Zakarin going to pink or that he is goo TTer, gaps will be so small and other
Valverde should be close to Nibali but I did not saw so long TT with valverde being less then 6s down to Nibali, not even close, I think that time loses will be significant

Well, Zaka became a darling around here. If things go as they should only Dumoulin can prevent Nibali to take the maglia rosa.

Yes, Zakarin has the monster performance in the 2015 Romandie ITT, but he was already a great ITT before turning pro, he had a few great results in his U23 days.
Anyway, it's a pretty technical ITT that suits both Nibali and Valverde.
Kruijswijk should do well (after the 2014 TdF fail every single Lotto Jumbo rider seems to do well in ITTs, the team and Bianchi probably worked a lot on it), but I don't now if it's a great ITT for a diesel like Kruijswijk, it's really technical and there's going to be lots of reaccelerating after all those corners, a diesel like him would probably prefer a more linear effort, but that's just my opinion.

Zakarin has no credentials whatsoever in this long ITT. Romadie was 17k he had the jersey, it gave him wings, you know the story. Better check his result last year in the Worlds, it can give you a better idea, he can easily loose 30 sec to the likes of Nibs and Bala. Kruijswijk on the other hand should be good. Uran might be, but the Quick Step TT magic seems to be gone.

Hoping Cancellara is recovered enough to go close to winning this, although early rain followed by drying roads could kill the chances of any early starters.
