Zakarin with an amazing imitation of Michael Rasmussen's 2005 ITT. Great effort.

And Brambilla with a Rasmussen Albi 2009 imitation
2007. And you probably refer Brambilla as Landa.

Yes 2007.
And i mean Brambilla he's the one keeping the jersey just like chicken that rainy day

Congratulations Landa. First career TT over 25kms where he loses less than 4 minutes to the GC guys
That's almost a Froome level transformation there.

Last year he was just over a minute down on Aru

But that was a really bad Aru. I think 2 minutes down in Hesjedal is a batter example.

Aru that day finished behind Alex Porsev, the sprinter.

Every time a SKY rider improves the tin foil briagade are out in force
No such comments when Dumoulin becomes a climber or Brambilla holds off Valverde, Nibali & co

Its is sickening really to have to read this rubbish
Landa has spent ages improving his TT..nothing more
He is hardly Fabian Cancelera

For me Nibali & Valverde still the best in the race and still going to be fighting for the win

Ages??? He's been with Sky for 6 months.

Just a reminder: Landa lost 4min to Contador over 60 km last season. He improved a hell lot and I'm looking forward to see him in the mountains.

People keep mentioning last year TT as an example of how bad Landa was.
I think the comparison doesn't make any sense at all. He has improved, definitely, but it has to be taken into account that last year he was riding as a domestique and probably rode that TT without pushing full gas. You have to look at the wider picture and not at the performance alone, out of any context.

The clinic exploded after Dumoulin's win on Cumbre de Sol last year

That is total bull ***. Last year he was 3rd after 2 weeks, so he had every reason to go all out in that tt. Besides, Aru, who top 10'd the Vuelta tt, was only 1'20" faster

lol Nibali slower than Landa. What a joke
The true joke is that Nibali won 3 gt's.
Andy Hampsten's Giro win is more worth than any of Nibali's gt achievements!

Yeah, only to you and Hampsten. What a nonsense!

any sky rider doing well = no justice in the world lol. grande landa :)

But it's almost true. Sky just do everything right, they fix every weakness in no time, in a sport where most others struggle to just maintain one single good thing.

Brambilla - 53:50
Nibali - 53:58
Landa - 54:05

Pozzovivo - 55:24
Chaves - 55:33
Zakarin - 55:36
Uran - 55:57
Firsanov - 57:01

Who all crashed? I know Zaka (3x, or was it 2 crashes and one mechanical?) and Uran crashed. Anyone else? Firsa maybe with that time?

Don't know if he crashed or not, but Firsanov was always going to lose a lot of time today regardless. His TT is not very good. I made mention of it yesterday.
