Sagan wins. Uran taken back in final 50mtrs who attacked on the same apot as last year.

Gva trying to follow sagans wheel. No chance at all.
Yes Yes Yes Yes yes!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

GVA can' stop s****** Sagan's wheel, but Sagain is just a much stronger rider than GVA. YES YES YES!!!!!!!

My uncle sees things. Sagan is going to win both, SOLO.

Tinkoff finally with a strong team will control the race and chase when needed, so Monster Petz will unleash hell and going flatout and GVA will lose Sagz wheel despite never taking a turn.

Get over it :)
AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH :D
But let's stop my fanboyism....

It's amazing to see the world champ and olympic* champ discussing races.

*Because Sagan was on vacation.

You do have some serious issues it seems. Like I said, get over it, and celebrate Sagan's victory without endlessly whining about Greg.

Sagan looked horrible and ... won

He said in the interview that he was taking in easy on the climbs as there was no reason to waste energy.

... whether his own decision or his DS, pretty smart riding IMO

He did not feel well and he is definitly not in a good shape . They could definitly get rid of him today if race was ridden a little bit harder. Strange breaks.

The true is GVA could win this race if he raced his race not Sagan ones. So many powerfull breaks, if he joined them there would be no Sagan in finale.

Could be, didn't see the race, but that's not really the point.

We know Sagan is a far better rider than GvA will ever be, but there's no point repeating it over and over again.

I am newly a member here...I am a fan of Sagan In San Jose CA and as the race started up the hill My COMCRAP Oooops Comcast modem decided to reboot on me and I missed the finish and only saw the 10 second or so replay of the end of the race.....UGH,

I have a question to ask about (not exact as there a differing opinions) the relative importance of the early one day classics. I know Sagan said when he was a kid he was very interested in the Paris-Roubaix (spelling YUK) and would like to know which ones I should keep track of when he races them. Is there an existing thread I could ask in or just use the Sagan thread?

Last couple laps he always dropped down the group on the steepest rise

Correct, after the race he clearly said it was on purpose as there was no need to go hard at that point and he was just saving energy.

Just caught up on highlights, pretty decent finish and a nice win for Sagan.

I know it's hardly breaking news, but Jeez Moscon is some talent, he's going to win a lot of good races. Already shown form in one-day races, stage race's, climbs, cobbles ect.

Let's go for broke and drown him in hype.

"Next Francesco Moser right here"

Paris Roubaix
Ronde van Vlaanderen
Milano San Remo
Gent - Wevelgem
E3 Harelbeke
Strade Bianche

these are spring classics he usually rides. but you can just check his twitter/facebook account. he always posts there when he departs for race.

I take it that, that is the order of importance....Would most agree with the order of importance in general? That is from what you have read here and elsewhere would the order be near what most people think are the most important?

He was talking about the final lap, and , what I also heard is that the rase was "so so", and that he was not sure whether he wound finish it or not, that he had cramps and he did not feel well.
The last climb where he had a perfect lead out , he just could not folow up with best. He was just lucky this time that some riders are also not in their top shape.
I doubt it was his or team strategy. Of course this is only my opinion and in Montreal he can prove me wrong. I would be very pleased :)

If he jumped the one with aru, or alaphilippe or even moscon it could be different race. :) Probably. Probably the strenght of Tinkoff and Orica this time did not allowe any chance of break. Yes it is hard to tell.
Untill now I did not realize that for the first time Sagan has probably the best team.
For everybody who doubts the Roman and Rafael commitment to team leader should watch the race yesterday.

Yeah, it's weird. Sagan seems to be the only guy that Majka respects enough to work for.

I hope Kreuziger goes to Bora, too. Those 2 could help Sagan win LBL :)

Sagan won't win LBL unless he changes training and gives up on the cobbled classics like Paris-Roubaix, which for so many reasons should be his number 1 goal in the near future. If he goes to the start line then teams like Movistar and Etixx will work like madmen to try and drop him on every climb, and create a really hard race.

Anyway, this was the first time that I had the opportunity of seeing Quebec. Great race with some potential. I just love new races that gain prestige,
It's important to procycling that races and efforts like this are successful, specially when other popular races are folding under economic pressure.

I think that Quebec could've been better if riders like Thomas were better, physically. Maybe one or 2 more laps could make a difference.

I love both canadian races. Hovever the Quebec race has a small problem with the final km. They should move the finish few hundert meters closer to the final climb. It is not fair that attackers have such a small chance to keep the attack to finish.

Shades of MSR.

Why are you so suprise with it?Sagan worked for Kreuziger for his Czech champ. and for his GC position in TDF the same he worked plenty times for Majka. They knew if they work for him he will pay them back.Everyone wish to have Sagan as his team mate and leader. On another hand if Kreuziger and Majka will work for Contador what they will get back?..........
