Poels was boxed in at the foot and had to waste some energy to go forward in my view, might have cost him the power for a podium

Purito went at the right time but he didn't have the legs, he blew himself up.

Valverde looks untouchable on the Huy on this route, with the other climb cooking the legs of everyone a bit about 5km out. The last two years he's been in complete control from start to finish.
