Yes, this is over as expected. Sagan is the obvious favorite now, but Van Avermaet seems to have improved his sprint this year and Rowe isn't slow either. Neither is Benoot, but he's probably not fast enough to win in a sprint with these guys.

Sagan is not the obvious favourite of course.

Can't see this group being caught, not enough organisation going on behind. Sagan has ridden smart here. My money would be on a Sagan, Rowe, GVA 1,2,3 now.

It won't end in a sprint.

Is it now about diesel or sprint?
Or combined?
Too much diesels and too many sprinters, I'd say.
Sagan has no business at the front. He should just police the group now.

I think Benoot will rip Sagan of his wheel.

This is a more difficult situation for Sagan then a sprint of a larger group.

Break to succeed...Sagan, unless a late attack happens and everybody rides his wheel.

Is Jumbo even taking part in this race!?

Guess I only saw Hofland once, so far.

They started with a team full of domestiques. They are riding on their level in the peloton.

Just watching it back, Rowe looks super strong, which means they need to find another ageing paul weller lookalike for him to pull for in the monuments. Still can't believe how young Benoot is, what a rider

If it was 50 km longer i would bet against Sagan, but in this case i think he is the main favourite

Have you even seen how strong Benoot and Greg are?

They have looked very strong on the hills yes. Sagan has looked just as strong on the flat.
