Well, I just noticed they will not climb Mont Brouilly from the same side as in 2014. Meh

Does it mean that the irregular "stair-case" profile is the right one?

Unfortunately not. However I have to say that I'm not completey sure, but the numbers from the profile on the official website and the profile from 2 years ago are just different.

@Kwibus
The way I see it, it was definitely risky, on-the-edge sprinting from Bouhanni, as usual. But two points:
The initial swerve to the left, although a DSQ could be justified, it wasn't dangerous. It wasn't a very sudden move and he left enough space for Matthews.
From that point on, he just sprints straight to the line, except for a slight swerve further to the left but it is unclear if this was deliberate or perhaps even caused by Matthews. What I do see, however, is that the barriers aren't straight, it's clear from the overhead shot. Bouhanni sprints in a straight line, but there is less and less space for Matthews because of the barriers.
So to summarize, yes, it was risky and perhaps the DSQ was justified. But it was nothing extreme, and the barriers definitely played a part.

+1000. I don't see what ethnicity or citizenship for that matter (french s**t - another post) has to do with it.

There have been reactions to denounce this rubbish of a post. Personally, I wrote five or six drafts, but I couldn't keep things civilized and didn't hit "submit". This forum deserves better, that's for sure.

Nah, he clearly moved slightly to the left (he can only move slightly because the barrier was already so close) trying to get his elbow in front of Matthews. It's a classic move, and if it had been just those two, in the middle of the road, I'd be fine with it, but so close to the barriers i think he deserves a penalty. Matthews avoided a crash only by millimeters.

Mont Brouilly 2014 according to official profile was 3km at 8.4%. This year's is... 3km at 8.4%. The profile is exaggerated but correct. It is the same side.

Nominee for worst post of the year
In return ill take the opportunity to nominate Bouhanni for most moronic cyclist in the history of the sport. Id rather see Gerrans win 10 more monuments then to see him mong up another sprint.

 You obviously don't get it if that's your response. Your 1st sentence is actually worse than your 2nd, though both are bad (which is why I nominated it for worst post of the year). Besides, he certainly doesn't deserve to be banned for that when Bos wasn't banned for a much worse incident.

Yep, thanks, I saw that several posters were offended by this as well. I was so shocked I had to post something right away!

Mont Brouilly 2014 according to official profile was 3km at 8.4%. This year's is... 3km at 8.4%. The profile is exaggerated but correct. It is the same side.
But on the Profile on the official website they write its 7.7%

They must have used Cronoescalada :D . Choosing the beginning and end of a climb is a lost art. Amazing how 100 or 200 meters can do ;) .

It is the same side (Saint Lager), the numbers in the 2014 profile are a bit more detailed and (i think) exaggerated.

Oh boo hoo, its a comment after a race, I just saw somebody attempt to harm someone with possible fatal consequences, excuse me if I get a little riled up over the fkhead.

Much more important is that Bouhanni has shown time and time again that he lacks the proper brain to be a responsible cyclist and is always out to delliberatly harm his fellow cyclists. His reaction to a guy coming up to his side is (while in full speed) make a swerve towards him in an attempt to crash him into the barriers with, like I said, possible fatal consequences. The guy is properly *** in the head. Let me end it with this perspective, if Graeme Brown was a Pokemon, Nacer Bouhanni would be his evolved form. That should tell you all really.
