Apart from a flat tire he only lost to Froome on the descent and yesterday. He's also pretty good in the ITT. It's just a shame he's this far behind due to no fault of his own.

So you didn't bother to read the "it's unlikely for sure" bit? Yes Porte has had a bad day every time so far. But he's only ever raced as a leader once. So yeah most likely Porte won't win, but unless/until he has his bad day he'll stay close enough to keep things interesting.

And I mean come on Mollema can stay with Froome, this is hardly alien level Froome.
