Ridiculous.

The race was on and would Froome have gone to the front to call a halt if it was Quintana who lost support riders like this.

Valverde didn't look too happy and rightly so.

The irony that Gerrans pulled to keep the gap to the Meintjes group, only for his crash to bring about it all regrouping.

The universe just wasn't ready to see Gerrans pulling.

So what? Riders don't have their own will? Do they have to obey Cancellara?

They should say f*** you Mr. Froome, we are riding on.

That piss has screwed up so many riders races. Yates had got 2 minutes on Barguil in pursuit of young riders classification. The peleton still had a chance of winning the stage and bonus seconds would been distributed to the winner. It has messed the day up as a viewing spectacle also. All because Froome went for a bloody piss cos his team mates had crashed.
I think they're responsible for their own decision. If Orica wanted to carry on pulling to protect Yates' advantage they should have done. It's their own fault if they got bullied by Sky.

Froome made it impossible for them to ride on by stopping alonsside the road

They had no-one to chase

Did the peloton stop because Froome needed to piss or did he just take the opportunity because the peloton was stopping anyway? I feel like it was the latter.

this, movistar should have driven the pace, but besides whining about the danger caused by the wind we hear nothing from them

What a clusterfeck. Fitting that Aru has yet another bike change. Will it be the right one this time?
