Tbh it's not all that impressive. He's taken about a minute over Zakarin in about 30 minutes or so. It's more attrition and weakness of others than incredible strength by Nibali.

Now he might not be done yet, but so far it's not exactly been breakneck pace.

Saw a few a bit earlier as well standing in the corner with water to cool the riders down.
