Majka pre-race interview: "Today I won't go on the break, will stay with Alberto. He is feeling better."

*goes on the break*

the last time when he did some dom job was at 2012 vuelta, he doesn't like/feel it, don't blame him. This is more DS fault for selecting him.

Actually, one of the two in front can take this.
Niether one of the two is dangerous.
They're also peloton's insurance.
This is it, people. Enjoy the landscape.

Majka has to be the most selfish rider out there. And he never takes a pull. Neither in the breakaway or GC group.

To be fair, if the plan all along was to go on the break, it wouldn't have been a great idea to broadcast today's tactics to everyone before the stage.

Rowe and Stannard are there but not Alaphilippe or Nibali?

Where do you see Rowe and Stannard? Neither are in the groups with the favourites. :)

Cavendish, Eisel, Lars Bak and Mørkøv are apparently behind the gruppetto and the last 4 riders on the stage right now according to Rolf Sørensen who's out on a motorcycle today. Could be time limit issues.

They aren't there. Rowe, Standard and Kiry have all been dropped. Landa is pulling along with Poels.

Mørkøv and Cavendish behind the gruppetto (where Kittel is in).

Edit: or maybe Cavendish is just simply in the group ahead of the gruppetto...

EDIT2: Cavendish and Eisel have been confirmed to be behind the gruppetto.
