Yes,very strange, I probably never seen him like that

But maybe its just too hot there

Ps: 3 astanas, nice

Maybe Aru gave them reast first week and they will. be better in Alps :)
depends if Niabli will help at least a little to Aru in some important stage

Sky getting Valverde in yellow would be their greatest tactic ever. Even better than their train. :D
I wonder what is going to happen on stage 9 if Valverde is in yellow. Would he ride to get on the podium or support Quintana?

Jedi mind tricks

Why are Movistar using all their men up? Shouldn't they let Sky use their riders?
Perhaps they want to keep a higher pace than Sky are setting - make it a more difficult day.

They probably reckon that Quintana has better recovery than Froome in high mountains, and that a high pace today will take less out of Quintana than Froome for tomorrow.

Riis suggests Movistar would like to keep a higher pace, but that their riders aren't quite strong enough to do what they would like to do.

If Froome does attack today, I'm not sure Quintana can follow

Why is that exactly?

If Froome attacks out of this group, that means he's near his peak. I don't think Nairo is there yet. I might be completely wrong of course.

must be crazy hot down there, I struggle in Scotland when we go over 15 degrees. Doubt I would survive in the Pyrenees

Why did Contador drop back there? with Kreuziger and Majka
Maybe team orders; if Kreuziger was in some difficulty, Contador could have dropped back to pace him a bit.
