Yep, Sky put a mighty large noose on the tour this year and pulled it really tight.

Looking forward to next year...
Looking forward to more of the same?
I didn't say that, did I?

I'm looking forward to some teams making big signings to hopefully keep this from happening again.
Sky is the team that will likely improve more than any other.

Apparently they already did by signing Diego Rosa... :(

I also think that Sky dominance might scare potential sponsors away from other teams also.

It's all subjective: what's the best or worst. I enjoyed stage 18, 19, and 20. Aru smoked the mtt. Bardet was sensational and Nibs looks good for Olympics.

Minimal frustration this year by watching three
stages in the last week -- perfect for dull sky domination years.

It's been the worst Tour since the Wiggins Tour, and the second worst since some of the Armstrong ones. Let's hope for better times soon.
the 2012 Tour was miles better than this one. Miles.

Huh?
The sprints were interesting this year, the GC action for the podium wasn't over until the end, some memorable moments. What did 2012 have apart from a brief moment where Froome attacked Wiggins?
So faaarking what? There wasn't any fight either.

Do you think the 2012 Giro was great? The win wasn't decided until the end...

People the problem is not SKY. The problem is that you have a 24 yo rider at 20" to the podium and he doesn't lift a finger to go and get it. SKY is irrelevant, it's the whole peloton.
absolutely agree

Explain to me how he rides in such a way to put 25 seconds into Froome. Froome would just follow his wheel while Yates tires himself and then falls like a rock out of second.

Not second, but wherever he is on GC.

It's right that the whole peloton right now is a problem but a completely dominant team which goes over the joux plane with 5 riders in the favorites group also isn't really an advantage.

The objective is not dropping Froome.

Stop arguing with Ryo. It's so incredibly pointless.

You know it's not that simple. Ignore and he thinks he's right. Ignore and his ego insufflates even more.

That usually culminates with him being so sure of himself that he starts insulting people and belittling them upon the next argument. And while I'd be over the moon with what usually follows, I don't want to give him the joy.
