Hahaha Kittel silenced you all. He was by far the strongest one, the first to start his sprint and the only one not to fade.

Well, I agree with all the frustration but there is not much you can do to protect your leaders either.
Either a rule change (gaps neutralised earlier) or we will get to see that more and more often.
