Right now the flat Krakow ITT is just too important/long, the hilly stages are not hard enough to make this up.

To the South from Nowy Sącz there is a nice climb to the top of Beskid Sadecki mountain ridge. The road reaches a summit called "Przehyba". I was wondering why aren't they using it (sponsors do not like it?). It is probably to narrow for a road race but I can imagine it as a nice MTT instead of that flat one in Krakow.

The start could take place in a beautiful town of Stary Sacz I've once visited.

The Karpacz MTT of over a decade ago was also good stuff.

So the Tour of Poland is gonna be the only WT race that is not broadcasted in other countries than the organizing country. Strange...

Given that it's held during the TdF, it's hardly that surprising. Apart from us cycling tragics, the general populous is already saturated with cycling on TV at the moment.

Jungels win here is obvious

If he minimizes his losses on the Ściana Bukowina, then he'll deserve to win. One good thing about this race is that the large number of small(ish) climbs in the Tatra mountains mean that there is real racing, while not creating huge gaps, so that there normally are a few riders who can still realistacially win before the TT.

Taaramae should do well here. I hope Yates will do well. Apart from the TT, it is a good course for him.

The final 2km or so have a really bad road (it's really bad sterrato, worse than Finestre).

I read an interview with Czesłąw Lang, the organiser, that apparently he wants the final ITT to be 50km long...

Quite a bit off, I'm afraid.

You can put names of those cities here, chose one of the Polish voices, click "play" and you know how it's pronounced.

I'm surprised Cannondale didn't bring Wippert here. If he was to get a decent win somewhere this season, this race would be a good opportunity.

De Marchi trying to go at it all by himself with 21 km remaining. OBE chasing.
--
Looks like it will be the expected bunch sprint for now, 17 k to go.
--
Paterski's turn to try solo, 12 k to go.
--
Katusha and Giant pulling for the sprint, 5 to go.
--
Kwiatkowski going 50 kmph at 95 heartbeats per minute. Huh?

I lolled when I saw the results. What's with Gaviria gifting stages left and right while he's a neopro? :p

Okay, apparently he didn't gift it, but it's still funny.
