My brain doesn't block all of Sagan's great performances, I simply don't watch them. I did therefore forget about that stage in my somewhat hyperbolic opening point, and the stage is mentioned later on (that's the one I meant about Froome in the wind, not the Neeltje Jans stage in 2015).MacBAir said:I know your brain blocks all of Sagan's great performances, but c'mon... it will take some epic raids from nairo to win me.

Damn, all your posts recently are either stating how much Contador will crush x rider on x mountain and how much you dislike Quintana. Salty!
It's ok mate. Some animosity is never boringjens_attacks said:giro on a plate by a red flag, vuelta by a contador attack.

There are more than three. There are in fact more than three involving Nairo, although he wasn't exactly the key man in the fourth.carton said:Oh, that's just beyond ridiculous. He's featured in the only three 50km+ leader's jersey attacks the last four years. In the latest of those he was actually wearing said jersey during the attack. They've won him a Giro, a Vuelta, and the closest Tour second place in the last eight years. Dude went on a flat break during the Route the Sud, just because that's his style.jens_attacks said:giro on a plate by a red flag, vuelta by a contador attack.

If you want a better grand tour raider you need to go back to the history books. No one better will likely come along in your lifetime.
Is that Cobo warming up for a race?jens_attacks said:carton said:Oh, that's just beyond ridiculous. He's featured in the only three 50km+ leader's jersey attacks the last four years. Probably frustrated Contador isn't doing better considering his spot on predictions every time the race tilts up and Contador is riding, would be my best guess!Escarabajo said:Maybe you are mad at somebody else!jens_attacks said:giro on a plate by a red flag, vuelta by a contador attack.

Yep, Major Tom was dropped a little under the 50km mark. I actually checked Morcuera, but got mixed up because the stage was a break was a little past that when it happened. Any other instance I'm missing?Libertine Seguros said:There are more than three. There are in fact more than three involving Nairo, although he wasn't exactly the key man in the fourth.

His gear ratio is fine on long climbs, but it is not on sprints. LOL.

Yep poor form from Quintana to do that, but did you expect anything else?![]()
Pretty much Narios style.

Quintana said it after the stage in the interview. "He did it to me several times, and then he said that every second counts, I just wanted to get to the finish first this time, but not a big deal, he is a great Champion and make the Vuelta win that much special. And that includes Contador and Chaves"42x16ss said:Well said!
