The tracker says that Viviani is still in the peloton, how is that possible? That must be a mistake, right?
Yes, the tracker also has Laengen in the chasing group instead of Majka.
Well, mainly the tracker says there's over hundred riders in the peloton which is stupid. Even Sagan is dropped and he tried, close to the top he was still with the cars, but it seems he couldn't get back

He looks horrible. Completely out of it. What the heck happened there?

Didnt really get a clear look at the accident but I did spot a tiny pothole in the road so it's possible he hit that and lost control, it didn't look like a dangerous corner

I think the most likely explanation is he hit the front brakes and the front tire skidded then he got right lock with the front wheel perpendicular to the bike frame and that is what threw him up in the air.... Maybe

Well, great racing otherwise. This breakaway could decide who ultimately contests GC. Majka, Bennett, Morton, and Boswell are all really strong climbers. Now or never for BMC, Cannondale and the other teams who missed out. Hopefully Toms gets pulled off the road and checked on.

Worried about Toms. Tough guy though, hard to tell him to stay down. [Edit: Good to see they finally made the call.]

VdV just called Majka by far the fastest guy in the group. I mean, it's no track meet, but I still be somewhat dubious of that particular assessment.

I think all 4 of those guys are molasses in a sprint. No telling who's fastest.

It's a hard call but I wouldn't be shocked if Majka is the fastest finisher in that group of 4

Morton will wipe them should it be between the 4 of them.

Not necessarily in a sprint.

PS: Can we talk about how beautiful he looks on a bike?
