Yep, that was way too easy for him. Perhaps Alaphilippe has the sprint to challenge nowdays though.

Why the hell weren't Pantano saved for the final km... Contador again too close to the front too early. He really didn't ride very smartly here.

La Molina just isn't a stage to create big gaps. Always small gaps between the GC guys.

Yes, the UCI and their commisaires really do need to start being consistent with enforcing the rules. Not just this one, all of them, all the time.

Lol you can't wait till the final km if you're up against Valverde and Dan Martin... it was the right tactic but unfortunately Pantano's move didn't slim down the group enough.

Yep, that was way too easy for him. Perhaps Alaphilippe has the sprint to challenge nowdays though.

Especially on these kind of slopes.

On the Mur, i expect Henao and Ala to challenge Bala this year

Yeah, he was in control the whole way - so impressive his positiong and timing - makes it look so comfortable. Also the speed with which he can sprint past a very good puncheur like Martin is incredible.

Lol you can't wait till the final km if you're up against Valverde and Dan Martin... it was the right tactic but unfortunately Pantano's move didn't slim down the group enough.

Think the climb is too easy before the last km. The main group was huge going into the final section; it's just gives too much benefit for drafting to shed numbers.
