Contador doesn't seem like he is breathing atm either.... so easy on the pedals. Looks much better than I've seen him in a whileb.broadhurst said:G looks scarily strong at the moment.
The 2nd part of the climb is too easy for him to win against Thomas, Valverde, Froome, Dan Martin.Valv.Piti said:Contador looks incredible. I think he will win.

Those who wrote the race off last night are proving correct so far.
Ok. Thanks. That makes sense. I guess in this case it made some difference, but let's say that if they don't enforce it,then teams will abuse it and will make more difference.King Boonen said:Escarabajo said:I have never ridden a TTT. Not even a TT. Maybe it made a difference because it was by two seconds. But what he did looked like not much to me.King Boonen said:Escarabajo said:At the end if they are going to punish somebody they had to do it right. Nothing wrong with that. So I think the decision to punish the whole team is the right one.
However, I still think those to pushes were nothing. very inoffensive. I don't think they changed the outcome of the TTT. So I thought that is a harsh rule if it is applicable in this case.
Lastly, fans will never be happy. Obviously. Some cheer for some teams some for the others. And the rest hate the UCI.![]()
I'm guessing you've never ridden a TTT then? The race was won by 2 seconds. One of those incidents could easily be the difference between the two teams.
Rules are rules and I am happy they are enforced correctly.
Maintaining formation makes a massive difference. If it weren't for the pushing they would have had riders dropping back, working hard or the team slowing slightly to keep together. It's part of the skill of TTT and one of the reasons it's good to see them enforce this rule.
