How did Zakarin make it back to the front? He lost at least 3' and the peloton didn't slow down at all.

I thought they slowed down a bit, And I don't think he lost 3 minutes. Seemed less, but I could be wrong.

Did a Nibali, perhaps :p

Probably, is lucky that he's doing it in Catalunya and not in P-N or Vuelta where it probably would've been broadcasted.

I wouldn't complain if someone knocks him out someday. Maybe during a sprint at full speed :)

Anyone else fancy TJ to hold on tomorrow? He has got 40" to play with.
teejay not losing more than 20-30 seconds to valverde tomorrow is easily imaginable. most likely, ac will win the stage with quite a small margin. i don't foresee other contenders being able to seriously distancing each other either. i'm going with something like bertie 0, thomas, teejay, valverde, martin +15-20'', zaka, froome, bardet +30''

He will have memories of Andalucia 2016. Lo Port is harder than Peñas Blancas. :D

Yes me

It's "only" 8km and I don't think the attacks will start right away. I think he can do it.

& Berto for the stage :) I hope

Either a hoax or an old tweet. His last tweet is a picture of Valverde having breakfast before today's stage

While this seems pretty pathetic to do for arguably the best team in cycling, BMC brought this on themselves.

It's not breaking the rules to the same extend -actually it's breaking the rules for two different reasons- but this is indeed breaking the rule whatsoever.

As much as I'd love to point and laugh at BMC for TJ being ejected for this, he was removing it to adjust it and put it back on.
That specifically has been the subject of previous protests. It's well established by now that it's legal.
