Maybe. The Funksters will lose heaps of time but 6 minutes on Caja and 3 on Cannondale is a bit much.

Be interested to see how Lotto Jumbo do here. They normally seem to put in TTTs which are less than the sum of their parts. But a team with Kruijswijk, Campanaerts, Gesink, Keizer and Clement should be looking at minimum top 5 imo, and staying within touching distance of the big GC favourites. Anyone know if Gesink or Kruijwsijk is there nominated leader here?

Isn't the times between each team starting usually pretty big to avoid teams overtaking each other?

3 minutes, but the teams starting before Trek are pretty crap and could easily lose minutes to the best.

Starting to rain now apparently. QuickStep DS told a danish reporter yesterday that they crashed on the route, when they were doing a recon last sunday. He said that the route was more technical than he expected, so perhaps a bit of rain could complicate things for the early teams.
