Lol, Demare, that was weak.

The cobbles specialists should sit up and let the sprinters and Steppers do the work.

All the fastest guys are up front except Degenkolb and Kristoff who neither seem 100%.
Nah, it's easier to attack from that group when the wind shifts direction than from a big bunch.
They are still waste a lot of energy. And Viviani isn't taking any turns anymore.

It's stupid tactics by GVA and Sagan.

I don't get you - so you think they should let it all come back together for a huge bunch sprint? It's not like the sprinters in the front group would pull hard to stay away even if Sagan, VAM refused to work.

It's over for the chasers. It's all about the leading group now. Better start thinking about how you can beat Demare and Viviani.

Agreed. Sagan and GVA will probably think they have chances in a group sprint as well, after a hardish race. And they may well be right.

We'll see proper attacks near the finish. It may be a sprint, but it's no sure thing.

So will Sep join attacks and pull in the final, or is it all in for Modolo?

At least we see Viviani and Demare doing their fair share. Matthews doesn't take ANY pulls.
You didn't have to post it twice. Anyway, there's a minute gap, he has no need to work if all the others are so willing.

Great chance for Sagan to win I think. A race which has been hard for the pure sprinters, but relatively easy for him. A bit like the WC he's won, he should be able to outsprint everyone here.

I'm puking if Matthews who has done nothing wins.
We get it, you don't like Matthews. Are you going to puke if Viviani or Modolo wins?

Pace is just too high for serious attacks. And there are a bit too many guys with a good sprint in the group of course.
