How 'lucky' is Sagan though, encountering a 'leftover' from the early break who is 1) impressively strong and 2) willing to cooperate this much.
No way, that can happen in a race like Roubaix, from a break of four rouleurs you'd expect one to still be going well. Sagan closed a 40 second gap to the break solo, and then took the cobbled sections slightly easy to keep them with him. He's made his own luck here.

Of course it *can* happen, but chances are very slim.

Dillier what are you doing. He just doesn't believe in winning this.

If he stops pulling then the chances of getting to the velodrome alone get a lot shorter. Podium in Roubaix beats 10th.
I would surely go all in and make a deal with Sagan (unless I was sure i could follow him to the line). A 2 second place is excellent.

But lets see - the show isn't over. They are finally closing down the gap.

Dillier has no business hanging on Sagan's wheel, let alone taking pulls. If he wins it will be historic.
He needs to. Gap coming down rapidly now
Of course, but the fact that he has the strength to do so is incredible.
True. He looks strong too. I think he actually has a shot to win in a sprint. Sagan has really spent some bullets on the cobbled sections

I hope for cooperation till the end and then fair winner. Obviously I'd prefer Sagan but if it's Dillier after working with Sagan, great for him, I'd cheer him equally.
