The gap between the large leading group of 70 riders widens to 2m 30s in front of the rest of the peloton.
I think it's the gap to the breakaway, not between two pelotons.
There is no breakaway. The group of 70 is the 'breakaway'. :D

Any information of the riders in that 70 group?

Have someone out of the favorites missed it?

No information or names as of yet. All I know is that Sky is leading the group and Orica is present in that group. The weather is affecting the communication of race information.

Anyway, Sky in front of the first group.
Which most likely means Kwiat is in the front group. However with such a chaotic race going on I don't even know this huge split is that good for the prerace favorite.

Ridiculous in the present era. Just give those riders a chip to the pocket, buy some software. That's it

RCS should stop to give the production to Rai, we already know that with them we can only see 60 kms of this or Lombardia but they'll show MSR from Turchino, another host broadcaster will be fresh air.

Eurosport player shows Siena, finish line. Raining heavily. They are supposed to broadcast the women's race.

And rider identification (season-long squad number?) on helmets. They are not swapped halfway through a stage because of mechanicals, or covered by rainjackets, and visible from multiple angles.

it's always nice when Rai takes insults not only from Italians but from the whole world. You make us feel less alone
