Yes, normally. But he spent a lot of time in front before Bardet joined up, so might be too fatigued.

Bardet had to close a big gap to the favourites alone, that was a bigger effort.
It was on a really steep climb though - he probably wasn't working any harder than the others - just is a much better climber.

A big effort, yes, but it didn't take him long to get there. Van Aert pulled the break for long.

Yep, maybe catch his breath by sitting on for a couple of km. But he's clearly the stronger of the three, so should try to drop them before the finish imo.
