Move of the day by Benoot, but it also shows that the front duo doesn't hold many reserves
Benoot should try and go straight past them.

Dude, what he did was almost impossible and know you want him to just drop them :D ?
Yep, maybe catch his breath by sitting on for a couple of km. But he's clearly the stronger of the three, so should try to drop them before the finish imo.

There's still Le Tolfe right?

Wait, isn't this what we wanted when we reduced teams to 7 riders?
Exactly. You want crazy racing but then you complain big teams don't shut down every move.
This is what we need.

Exactly, fans wanted unpredictive races and now some are complaining when favorites don't shut down every single attack.

I just dont understand sagans tactics
I think he struggles tactically because he was so dominant as a youngster and on the Slovak cycling scene, that he never honed tactics the way that Belgian or Italian riders have to from a young age.

Which is good really. If he was strong tactically he'd be practically unbeatable and races would be dull. It's much more interesting to watch a superhero burdened by one major weakness.
