Damn, so typical of this forum, everyone* salty because their favorite rider couldn't win and decides to deride the race and racers. Terpstra gambled big time, had great legs and it paid of.

EDIT: Some*
Don't get me wrong, Terpstra and Pedersen have been great, but Sagan's tactics, for me, were wrong (again)

What could Sagan have done? Others won't ride with him and Quickstep disrupting.

According to some posters, Sagan is the only one in this race against Quickstep.

Did Terpstra spit on Nibali ? I hate Terpstra, racist *******.
I don't think he did it on purpose, although I didn't really see it. Don't see why he'd have done it

100% of the riders who spat on Nibali today went on to win the race. Can't argue with the tactics when they have such a high correlation with success.

Precisely. It's the riders like GVA and Vanmarcke who are more open to criticism.

He should've just followed Terpstra/Nibali when they went. The first attack was fairly weak, and if he was there then no way would Terpstra had ridden. Obviously there's every chance someone would do it again, but the only climb left was kwaremont/paterberg, and he was strong there.
