Sagan should not use Oss for pace keeping.
And he should be aggressive on hills (but possibly he did not have the legs for that).

Damn, so typical of this forum, everyone* salty because their favorite rider couldn't win and decides to deride the race and racers. Terpstra gambled big time, had great legs and it paid of.

EDIT: Some*
Don't get me wrong, Terpstra and Pedersen have been great, but Sagan's tactics, for me, were wrong (again)

What could Sagan have done? Others won't ride with him and Quickstep disrupting.
He should've just followed Terpstra/Nibali when they went. The first attack was fairly weak, and if he was there then no way would Terpstra had ridden. Obviously there's every chance someone would do it again, but the only climb left was kwaremont/paterberg, and he was strong there.

This is the most absurd Captain Hindsight comment I've ever read.

Did Terpstra spit on Nibali ? I hate Terpstra, racist *******.

Are you serious? Racist, towards an italian?

Oh well, at least there is no shortage of passion amongst cycling fans!

Great race by Terpstra. Too easy in the end for Quickstep though. Sagan looked the strongest of the rest but, as usual, his tactics were shockingly poor.

Avermaet did it! He beat Sagan! Against all odds! Bet he's super satisfied with his riding today...

He and Sagan were the only favorites to attack today (except for Terpstra of course)? I didn't see him skip any turns or anything, he tried at least.

Against Colombians actually. Separate incident.

If Terpstra actually spat on Nibali, should be disqualified. Mads Pederson would be a fun winner for such a boring race.
