Roglic played good poker today, saving up for tough stages to come, including tomorrow's. Landa and MAL invested a lot to recoup 29 seconds, but at least they got something for their efforts, and their teams were ready with support riders on the long flat to help save their legs a bit. Nibali and Yates held serve well. It's nice to see this Giro awaken.

Jungels will never be what he wants,I fear. Great rider, but these long steep climbs seem to be too hard for him.

Rogla looked so calm, but his lack of team mates has to be a concern and this was only the first test of many!!

Glad Landa and MAL showed something.

Tomorrow should be fun again.

A pat on the butt for good work.

I'm still surprised how quickly the Jumbo Visma guys fell off basically at the early slopes. But now the other teams know and there's no hiding the weakness in the team. But then again if Jumbo was bossing it with like 3 teammates everyone would be saying it's all over, Sky 2.0, and such.

Exactly as expected for me.
If Pozzo doesn't step up Nibbles is in trouble as well.

Yeah Astana, Movistar and Michelton all with numbers in the end. Especially Chavez looked really good, it's good to see him back in some form.
