We should complain.silvergrenade said:I know I shouldnt complain but this was a really underwhelming stage. Nothing much happened except the sprint at the end which had just 3 guys battling.
No good MTF till Stage 14(?). Bummer.
Yeah, I underestimated a whole peloton coming in in top form with lots of motivation. You need some harder stages than this to create good racing early on in a GC. But lets be happy the Giro starts proper tomorrow with an incredibly interesting TT.Red Rick said:We should complain.silvergrenade said:I know I shouldnt complain but this was a really underwhelming stage. 7 road stages in, nothing has **** happened apart from one of the main favorites crashing out.

Think it was related to potential bad weather, but yeah, some of the riders like to complain over everything.del1962 said:Did not look like a technically difficult descent, what was the fuss about?

Onto the TT!
del1962 said:Demare needs a harder race, anyway Ewan did well as he was isolated in the final due to all the work his team did.

Too far back? He was absolutely perfectly placed. He was right on Ewan's wheel and couldn't make up an inch. Ewan was simply much fasterRobert5091 said:Good win for Ewan - Ackermann did n't have the legs and Viviani too far back.
