Managers need a good reason to spend 750 points + on a rider in this game, and no one thought that Kristoff, Degenkolb or Van Poppel provided sufficient reason. If they don't follow up their results today with something else good, that might have been a fair judgement (although I dare say there will be more expensive riders that were picked scoring less by the end of the game) We certainly got some of the good scorers into our teams though.

Even with 4 races to go, that score of Tobydawq's puts previous winners in the shade, and although Chiron might feel that his second place is distant, it already bears comparison with previous winners. There has been some score inflation as more races have been upgraded to WT status, but these are impressive scores.

Thanks, that's pretty cool! I have to say, though, that my dear friend Mathieu has done some of the heavy lifting as well, it's not just me

But it's a bit funny that Chiron (number 2 in the standings) and I share 6 riders. All those 6 riders rode Amstel and none of out other riders did. So it was a guaranteed stalemate.

And now I think that's about it for me. Maybe Bettiol and Vakoc can get a few points in Liège, and I don't know if Trentin wants to squeeze the last out of his spring in Frankfurt? I was positively surprised by his performance today. But again he lost out in the sprint. He could have been that much more of a points machine this spring if a few things had gone a bit differently.
