I wonder if the rolling terrain will sap the legs of some of the sprinters. I can't judge how calm this stage has been (or not).

Odd all the DQ riders rode back to the peloton without Viviani

They were saving Mas.

Miquided ....Vivani can win more stages while Mas GC ????

DQ having lots of mechanical

Mas' GC would be destroyed if the front group went home alone, Viviani will have plenty of opportunities.

The point still stands ...Yellow and a stage for Vivani will be worth more than a anything MAS can do
Plus Mas would not be destroyed by staying by himself in front goroup

No, it doesn't. Mas had been dropped, and yes he can do more important things than Viviani in this Tour.

Fuglsang starting the Tour with the wrong foot.

Re: 2019 Tour de France, stage 1: Bruxelles > Brussel, 194,5

When exactly did a favorite crashing on stage one become a tdf tradition?

So unfortunate for Jakob. With those injuries, GC is over.

Probably a bit premature there.

I hope it just was a minor cut in a "bad" point of his face/head. I can't see if he managed to stop the flow.

He's hurt his right knee which is causing him problems.

Took them a while to catch up with the peloton, wasn't a sure thing imo.

He looks fine. Probably just a bit groggy if he has hurt his head. Pedalling fine, being able to stand up. Let's see after the stage.

yeah, that's surely the biggest concern, long term.
