Baloney! Everyone else would have ridden very differently had they known that was the stage finish. No stage rankings was the proper decision for a neutralized stage.

Not according to ASO and their opinion trumps yours, it's their race.

Yes it Awarded a winner and we'll Never Known if he'd have won on the road, because he didn't have to.
