Can’t watch the stage tomorrow due to work, but should be another great stage if those 4 continue in this form.

Will be difficult to beat the Sky duo
But not impossible. Salten is harder than todays climb. The question is how much energy will Nibali put into this stage with the Doyenne on Sunday.

Exactly, that's the obvious question to ask. Unfortunately this stage presents the best possibility of flat out dropping people. I don't know how Nibz will manage this one

It would be interesting to see how Bernal would have got on here. Great race with numerous attempts at getting rid of the SKY duo. I'm gunning for Nibs at LBL but not so sure at the Giro. Maybe too many bigger fish.

Just add another black shirt, Bernal probably wins all 4 stages in a sprint or something.

Only thing I hope for the Giro is a better Bahrein team.
He really needs Pozzo to recover from that crash in time.
Caruso is great, but he needs another climbing domestique and Padun has a knee injury.
If he's ready to ride the Giro then him, Caruso and Pernsteiner will be a strong climbing team.
On another note, it's great to see that Carboni is riding a strong race, he should be ready for the Giro.

I have to think that Nibali in his best shape wouldnt have problems disposing of the Sky young duo on the climbs. Or maybe Nibali is in top shape and somehow both of them are on the same level.

Too short stages, not hard enough, Nibali must shed another half kilo or so, not at 100 per cent, not digging extremely deep and of course the young Sky guns are strong in short explosive stage races. Giro is a completely different animal. Anyway, Nibali looks to be in the best shape in years at the beginning of a grand tour.

This is tomorrow's last climb. Hard enough to drop the Sky's? Maybe. But Nibali has to do everything alone, his teammates are not strong enough to drop Sivakov, Tao or Froomey...

Nibali got all the answers he was looking for before his big targets of the year. He should play it safe tomorrow, don't waste energy, perhaps just one strong attack in the final if he really wants to win a stage.

If a Sky rider wins tomorrow's stage and Sivakov defends the lead, they will have won half of their victories of the season in this race.

Lol, why? Is your argument that Nibali is as good on short and easy mountain stages as he is on long and hard ones?

No I'm just making stuff up to create false hope to sustain my pathetic Sky hate.

Perfect answer given your user name!

But I concur, and as I noted in the Nibali thread, I'm not quite sure why he kept attacking after Froome was dropped. For guys like Hart and Sivakov, a win at the T d A is a big deal, but not for a multiple GT winner...
