They had a chance but the Alpecin-Felix guy that lead with 1 km to go blew it. Gap was less than 5s. In the end it´s the same story every single time. No helpers left. Captains won´t go all out chasing the leaders.

VdP only sprints for 1km in AGR.

Nibali was kind of let go by a fresher peloton, these guys were still holding back for a sprint as well
