MvdP finishes 1st in the Dutch race. Nils Eekhoff (Sunweb) finishes 2nd. He was the guy that controversially got disqualified (after apparently winning) in the world U23 roadrace last year for drafting help after a crash. Remember that? Anyway, he's good.

By the way, nothing against Geniets, I'm happy about the points, but I think also Jungels is really bad right now (compared to other times). I even thought DQS should take Sénéchal to the Tour instead of him, but of course they won't.

The laps were short so everyone falling behind 6 minutes would be taken out of the race.

Right, I know he wasn't close, but I guess it's a good thing Sinkeldam didn't win the Dutch race. The French, the Luxembourgish, and the Dutch champion in the same team would just have been too damn confusing. Generally speaking, most teams have the decency to have - at most - two of those.
