Yup. The odds are lower now, so I'm gonna bet on him winning when he's caught and the odds are high again.Pog can probably do it all again next lap anyway and failing that Rog can try
And the sinister Belgians chasing him...Someone make the Bond vid with Pog too
It make sense for Belgium to keep him at about 10s for as long as they can. Finally some excitement. Will Belgium take the full responsibity for the chase? I bet not, thinking they're just pulling for better climbers. Only a few more moments of hesitation in the peleton and it's a done business for Pogacar.
I wonder what MVDP, Sagan etc. are thinking right now.
Especially with the not-exactly-star-studded lineup that the Dutch sent.Sagan probably wouldnt do anything special here with his form but MVDP did real mistake to not be here.
I always find cycling on motorsport circuits is so tough
Van Aert also has the Sagan issue, though. He follows, great. If it’s a group of 4 or more, then it just gets so hard - best bet at that point is finishing alone almost.Pogacar doing a great job of weakening the potential of Belgium to chase down something after the last climb.
Big pressure now on WVA to be able to follow any attacks in the last lap.
