Update 1

And we're off for a new year of the youth CQ game. DJ Sprtsch has the honour to be this year's first leader. With Attilio Viviani, Henok Mulubrhan and Biniam Hailu he scored an impressive 134 points in Tropicale Amissa Bongo. Second placed hfgon1 picked Hailu as well, and he also scored with unique pick Matthew Holmes, who surprised with a stage win on Willunga Hill. Skidmark rounds out the current top-3 with points from Viviani, Hailu and Dainese.

Update 2

Quick update as I haven't got much time:
Nicosix is this update's highest scorer, scoring an impressive 310 points. He had Dainese and Groves collect wins in the Sun Tour, and Hailu is already into profit after finishing 2nd in Laigueglia. With that score, he climbed 5 places into 2nd place.
2nd highest scorer, and new leader overall, is skidmark. He had the same three main scorers as Nicosix: Dainese, Groves and Hailu. The same is true for our third highest scorer and new third place overall, Kazistuta.

Update 3

So, this may very well be the last update in a long while. With very few races on the European calendar, DJ Sprtsch managed to benefit from his slightly unconventional squad. Ravanelli, Hailu and unique pick Mulubhran all scored a couple dozen points in Rwanda, which earns him the number one spot on the highest scorers leaderboard.

Second highest scorer is skidmark, he got points from 8 of his riders, amongst others Hailu, Bagioli and Van Wilder, which is quite impressive considering the limited calendar. MADRAZO follows closely behind with points from amongst others Ravanelli, Bagioli and Erlend Blikra.

Kryvo is the highest mover, jumping 15 positions, his biggest scorer was another up and coming African talent, Hailemichael. Search and LukasCPH both move up 10 places, both of them had Hailu as a main scorer.

Last update, we had a tie for first between skidmark and Nicosix. This update leaves skidmark as the sole leader, in front of Nicosix, while DJ Sprtsch manages to climb onto the podium.

I think it's pretty cool to see so many African stars making a difference, maybe a positive result of the corona pandemic

Update 4

So, after a long break, I'm back with another update, apologies for the delay. We've had quite a few interesting races already and many points have been scored. Let's have a look at the 10 highest scorers since the restart of the season

Top-10 highest scorers since the restart
1 skidmark 690
2 theasian 660
3 Joelsim 659
4 MADRAZO 644
5 danielo 639
6 LosBrolin 630
7 Zuoka 614
8 Leadbelly 610
9 JonEzeitza 600
10 Kryvo 589

As shown above, skidmark, who was already first overall, was the highest scorer, collecting points with Eekhoff, who scored over 200 points in a week and a half, Bagioli and Simmons and many others. The powerful combination of Eekhoff, Bagioli and Simmons is a popular one, and we see these three riders feature on 8 of the 10 highest scoring teams. With many races left in the coming months and these riders clearly in good shape, these teams can expect more points coming their way.

Overall, obviously skidmark remains the top dog with MADRAZO and Joelsim sharing the podium with him. Skidmark has built a solid lead, but despite the fall season nearing, there are still many, many more points to be scored.

Top-10 overall

Update 5

This update's highest scorer is danielo. Andrea Bagioli and Quinn Simmons, both very popular, were among his best scorers, but the difference was made by near-unique pick Attila Valter's win in Hungary. Valter is one of the most expensive riders in the game so he still has some way to go to get into profit, but he's gotten off to a decent start. With this performance, danielo also moved up 6 places to 4th overall.
Leader skidmark was this update's 2nd best scorer, with points from Bagioli and Simmons as well as Alexander Krieger and Biniam Hailu.
With only 3 points less than skidmark, Cordi is our 3rd highest scorer. Like many others, he scored with Bagioli and Simmons, but he also got significant points from amongst others Tobias Foss, Andreas Leknessund and Tom Pidcock. Cordi is also one of the highest movers, climbing 9 places. Squire is the highest mover (+13) followed by Karaev1 (+11). They both have the common combination of Bagioli, Simmons and Foss, with Pidcock added into the mix for Squire and Leknessund for Karaev1.

The overall podium remains the same, with skidmark in 1st place, MADRAZO in 2nd and Joelsim in 3rd.

Update 6

During the last couple of weeks most of our attention went to the Tour and World Championships, but due to the condensed calendar many smaller races took place as well. LukasCPH took full advantage of this, getting the highest score by a significant margin. His main scorers were Andreas Leknessund, Ethan Hayter and Alexander Krieger. With his points haul, Lukas also rocketed up the overall ranking, climbing 14 spots to 2nd place. However, he wasn't the highest mover. That honor is reserved for Zuoka, this update's 2nd highest scorer. Scoring points with Jannik Steimle, Leknessund and Alessandro Covi, Zuoka now sits in 10th place overall.

Third highest scorer as well as third highest mover, comodoro climbed 12 spots thanks to the solid duo Steimle and Hayter.
Overall skidmark remains first, LukasCPH moves into 2nd, however he is a fair distance behind skidmark. JonEzeitza is now 3rd overall.

Update

The latest update isn't quite as exciting as the previous two. We have Wallenquist with the highest score, thanks to almost a 100 points from Florian Vermeersch, who moved up to the ProTour this June. Wallenquist also scored significant points with Andrea Bagioli and Ide Schelling.
Zuoka is our second highest scorer. Zuoka, too, scored with Vermeersch, as well as Andreas Leknessund and Alessandro Covi. Joelsim is our third highest scorer mainly thanks to the combined points of Vermeersch and Bagioli.

We don't see a lot of movement in the rankings this time around. The highest mover, climbing 6 places, is allobroges, who scored with Bagioli and Covi as well as with rare pick Bissegger. Zuoka, the second highest scorer, is second highest mover as well, together with TheArt. They both moved up 4 places. TheArt got points from amongst others Vermeersch and rare pick Johan Jacobs.

Overall, the top-5 remains the same. Zuoka climbs to 6th overall, while Kryvo and theasian enter the top-10. Skidmark is still our leader, but most of the top-10 gained some ground on him this update.
