I'm happy Powless won... at least not Mohoric... and I got Powless on my cq-team... but apart from that it was a disappointing race with so many favourites and so many helpers still left and doing simply nothing.

Seems like a lot of the big favorites weren’t in top form for whatever reason. EF rode smart and Carr even had something left after being caught.

Race to forget apart from the perfomances of some youngsters.

Good to see Covi confirming what he's been showing this year.

Maxim Van Gils has been getting better and better. A top 15 in the queen stage in Tour de Suisse, then a 7th place in the GC of Tour de Wallonie and now a 12th place (and being able to follow the best) in his first WT classic. Pretty good for a neopro.

Ayuso couldn't follow the best on the last climb, but getting a top 20 as an 18y old is still really good.
