Poor Nizzolo.

I highly recommend a visit to Spoleto, BTW.

What's the main selling point B?

We did Tuscany with dips into Emilia Romagna / Liguria a while back and are hoping we do Lombardy / Trento / Veneto later this year so a trip further south will be next on the list, just need to work out whether to venture North from Rome and around or go south instead

That sprint was absolutely hilarious

Really impressed by Aleotti this last days, he is 21.
He was a beast in the u23 ranks, but I was thinking that it was a bit early to already have him ride the Giro.
He could become a contender in the hard hilly one day races like LBL, Emilia and Lombardia.

To be fair, I'm pretty sure that Viviani was further behind than Nizzolo, when the latter was dropped, so Viviani must have made it back somehow. It's not unreasonable to believe that Viviani was dropped in that situation in my opinion. Also, the way the coverage of the Giro has been so far I wouldn't trust the producers to focus on even Bernal if he was dropped.

No, of course he was not behind when Nizzolo was dropped... He was behind Nizzolo when they first filmed the latter, but then evidently his elastic snapped and next time they filmed him he had been dropped but Viviani had still kept his place in the back of the bunch.

Not sure that si a wise tactic by QS

These seconds will mean nothing at the end but the energy loss may

lol. bernal put out just as much energy.

if remco loses the giro, it won't be because of this one sprint before the rest day.

it will simply be because other riders are stronger and he isn't back to 2020 shape yet.

So basically he was behind Nizzolo, when he was dropped.

for what could of been a dull stage the last 50km of this stage will end up being a great watch

Sagan lacking top bunch sprinter speed but in possession of a very committed team adds a great deal of entertainment to GTs these days. Many of the least promising stages get enlivened and made a lot tougher by Bora versus the sprinters
