Great tactical move to take out Ciccone on the descent before setting the tempo on the flat to keep him distanced

Nieve rode straight into Remco after he had gotten on his feet so that was why he was apologising/tending to him.

Not much luck for Remco. And may I be free to say that I find it a bit ridiculous how every little move he makes needs this much scrutiny? Sagan may not have crashed there, but please...

I mean, that can happen if you see them crash right in front of you and panic a bit.
Certainly, I just can't work out if he thought he could get round and let it run, grabbed too much brake and high-sided or didn't see it. From the replay it feels like he should have had enough time to slow down, but it's hard to tell.

I guess they are riding for Almeida for the stage win then? Don't really see that happening, but can't think of much else.
