"Anyone else would have just let it fall, he parked it like a perfect Sir". The commentary is pretty hilarious!
Goes to show just how consistent Caruso has been.Remco to win this from a breakaway.

Add the Giro 2019 with Carapaz to his Movistar periodLanda's career is quite funny...
@Astana when he had the opportunity to be the alpha male, Aru won La Vuelta.
@Sky he was a domestique for Froome @Tour, because of his problems @Giro's GC
@Movistar he had to fight with Quintana/Valderde for the leadership
@Bahrain when he is the alpha male at last, he was unlucky once again @Giro and now Caruso is doing the race of his life.
Dude, this guy has my luck!!
You are right!! Unbelievable...Add the Giro 2019 with Carapaz to his Movistar period
He was the leader of Sky @Giro, just unlucky. Why go to Sky and then Movistar if you want to lead in a GT, though.
He had the lead in a GT with sky. He crashed, though. Why go to Sky and then Movistar if you want to lead in a GT, though.
The problem with Landa was that some of his team changes were seemingly motivated by the fact that he wasn't always fully supported in his previous team. And then he chose the least likely team to fully support him on his next move.He had the lead in a GT with sky. He crashed, though.
Teams Landa has rode for in the past have won 4 of the last 8 Giri, 3 of the last 6 Vueltas, and 8 of the last 9 TdFs. By putting himself in there, he was giving himself the best chance to actually win a GT, not just compete.
Almeida is like Ricco compared to Zubeldia. He doesn't strike me as the anonymous type at all.Another stage where Quickstep could have used Masnada, shame what happened. They now rely on Zubelmeida tempoing himself to 7th overall to get something out of the giro.
Never thought I’d see that comparison.Almeida is like Ricco compared to Zubeldia. He doesn't strike me as the anonymous type at all.
He always has his best form riding for others.................no pressure maybe helps him.Landa's career is quite funny...

There is only one Zubeldia although Meintjes made a valiant attempt at imitating him for a few seasons there. But even Meintjes was clearly seen too often at the back of the main group in the mountains. Not a hall of fame ninja..............when Meintjes started appearing in breakaways his ninja dreams were over...........Almeida is like Ricco compared to Zubeldia. With Movistar I don't know if they were more focused on Netflix project than the race itself
