This shows that Affini faded a bit in the end, no way the bike change only cost 18 seconds. Cavagna and Foss are the only ones that could beat him realistically.
Cassani, who was following Ganna on the moto, said the bike change cost Ganna about 12 seconds. I think it was a bit more, but not more than 18s.

Definitely more than that, as he took a few seconds to get back up to speed.

Omg Cavagna... That would've been a win without the crash. But of course, same bad luck counts for Ganna.

That was a terrible mistake by him. Not sure if he was up or not or was he going to miss out by a few seconds

Just looked like he didn’t realise how severe the corner was.

He almost certainly would have won too, I counted 15s from hitting the barrier to when he got a push off from his team.

So again no QuickStep stage win at the Giro d'Italia. Last ones were Viviani and Schachmann in 2018.
