Steepest part of tomorrow is the final 500m so probably BIG ATTACKS
2020 Giro looks more and more like the weakest GT since probably decades. Hindley, Almeida, Nibali, Masnada nowhere near their top 10s from last year.

Was really a underwhelming break, especially since it was rather clear that its one for the break. Lafay did well. 40s on such a short climb is huge but on the other hand also a direct result of the low climbing level among the other riders.
The last 1.5-2k of the stage are very steep so that could be enough if a rider attacks there to cause gaps and maybe drop Valter by 11-16 seconds but I'm expecting same as today with a breakaway win and nothing major in GC

They are too interested in making hipster breakaway stages to please strade bianche enthusiasts, and backlogging all the climbing to final week.
Yeah the route is not as successful this year imo. Giro has been much better designed in previous years.
Has there been a better sponsor in the sport than Cofidis ? They have been around forever. And stuck with the team through long periods of little success.
