Various media outlets say that Majka, Formolo, De la Cruz and Oliveira are set to ride the Tour.

It's all guessing, Pro Cycling Stats saying:

Giro: Brandon Mcnulty, Davide Formolo, David de la Cruz, Valerio Conti, Fernando Gaviria + 3 more

Tour: Tadej Pogačar, Marc Hirschi, Rafał Majka, Davide Formolo, Jan Polanc, Alexander Kristoff + 2 more

Vuelta: Tadej Pogačar, David de la Cruz, Rafał Majka, Jan Polanc, Matteo Trentin + 3 more

Besides that, I personally think Mikkel Bjerg will get Tour debut for the needs in crosswind stages and the 2 TT's. Oliveira bothers to help Gaviria in Giro and maybe Grand tours debut for Camilo Ardila in the Vuelta.

I really don't think a team aspiring to win the Tour will pick a guy because he can do well on the ITT's. And he didn't show the best of recovery in the Giro, although his initial level was really good.

He was number 3 at the first TT, 14 on the second and the last one he was injured and couldn't use his right leg and still was only 1:19 from Ganna. Pretty good from a 21 year old grand tour debut rider.

But you right, they maybe not bringning him for TT. But I think they'll bring him for crosswind and to pull the peloton!

I am eager to see who Ineos have as leader for the Tour

I think it should be Carapaz

Last year Ineos messed up their prep with even Carapaz slow off the mark but I think he has the ability to beat Pog and Rog

I know bernal is talented but I'm not sure about about him under pressure and Thomas is also talented but again not sure given his crash record and age

At least Carapaz should co lead at the Giro

Ineos will take all the big dogs to the Tour regardless of the ITT. They want to compete against Jumbo. They won't take what happened last year. If they have 4 big names then be it. Even if Bernal or Carapaz lose time in the ITT they have different cards to play. IMHO.
Agree. Ineos definetly wants to compete with Jumbo and UAE. The difference to "Froome years" will be, that they will not have the best time trialist out of the climbers in their ranks. For this reason they will not be able to use the usual train tactic with one leader.
They have to ride offensive in the mountains, so that their top riders have the possibility to gain time in the mountains to Roglic and Pogacar.

What about a trident of Thomas, Sivakov and Martínez for the Tour...?

Probably not what they will do. But what I would do. ;)

I think UAE and Jumbo still have an advantage, because although Ineos have good time trialers, they don't have anyone who can elite-time trial and is also punchy, do they? And I think the course, well, depending on how it's played, might recquire both. Unless someone totally rules the TTs, then it doesn't matter anyway. I agree the only way for Ineos to go here is to try and divert (and rule) with several leaders.
Kruijswijk as a leader in Jumbo here I don't really get. I'm still obsessed with van Aert as a contender. But of course it would make most sense to hide him behind a stage/ green hunt, while the other three draw the attention... :p

Bernal, Carapaz, De Plus, Dennis, GHT, Martinez, Porte, Sivakov, Sosa, Thomas, Yates

are in my eyes the riders from Ineos who could potentially end up in the top 10 of either the giro or the tour.

Kwiatkowski, Ganna, Amador and Pidcock could perhaps also, but I think they will used as pure domestiques in the grand tours..

I agree, that I would also bring strong time trial specialists to the tour.
Strong in time trial are:
Thomas, Martinez, Dennis and Porte, (Sivakov, GHT)

Then I would at least bring some very good climbers, who could attack in the mountains from a bit more far away, when domestiques from other teams have already fallen behind, so that Roglic and Pogacar have to chase them on their own while their time trial specialists are sitting on their wheels until the last kilometers of the stage.

This could be:
Bernal, Carapaz, De Plus, Sosa, Yates, (Sivakov, GHT)

In the tour 2019 this worked pretty good with Bernal and Thomas as an example. (Stage 18 and Stage 19, where Bernal attacked from far away)

C'mon, Ineos are all about winning the Tour and you can't do it with the likes of Martinez, De Plus, Sivakov or Sosa. Not even Adam Yates and Dennis is probably focussing on Olympics and we still don't know how he will fare in TdF as a protected rider.
Their best bet is to bring the big dogs(Bernal, Carapaz, Thomas) and try to create havoc in the mountains with the south americans and follow with Thomas.
However, I don't think that all three of them will ride the TdF(Carapaz will ride Giro) but given that the likes of Porte and Adam Yates will be domestiques they will have a great team to creat chaos when the road goes uphill. Also, it's gonna be funny if Richie "I'm here as a lieutenent only" Porte will be their best climber. Martinez is probably their 5th best choice and De Plus I don't even consider.

I wouldn´t underestimate at least Martinez, De Plus and Sivakov in this context.

All three are still young, but they will get better every year.

Last year Martinez won the Dauphine and Sivakov had been as good as Bernal in the high mountains before his crash at one of the first stages in this years tour.
DePlus had a season to forget 2020 because of his injury, but he showed his high potential 2019. Sosa also showed a few times high potential, but I agree, that he is not constant enough yet..

It is all about the Tour for Ineos... Its what the British public watch

Dont forget Sir Dave says he wants to change the way Ineo ride....
With their team they could have several riders go for GC at once. I expect they will keep Bernal and Thomas with the leaders and sent the rest up the road with this new approach

Dennis And Ganna will probably do the Giro again with TGH and then prepare for the Olympics

The big question for me is Carapaz. Id send him to the Giro but they wont

It would be an amazing race if Carapaz, Porte, Yates Sivakov, Martinez & Kwaito were unleashed to go up the road every day with Thomas and Bernal kept behind
But they do need Doms to fetch bottles and shelter leaders

So hopefully Carapa goes to the Giro and Luke Rowe goes to the Tour

Going to be lot of disappointed Ineos riders who wont get to any GT in 2021 or indeed lead at any races
