I'd think Buchmann is better in more "linear" type of racing. But well, yeah, who knows. The Itzulia stage he won a coupld of years ago was fairly crazy as well
Yeah I think he prefers long and steady climbs like TdF 2019 but he's also good in the heat and sometimes performs well on hilly terrain like Itzulia or last year's Montalcino stage.
I still think they should've attacked with Keldermann and see what happens.

Martin with his usual GC scheme. If he can limit the damage he will sneak into another breakaway and stay in top 10 range.

I think Valverde would be too far back even from a top 10 even if he keeps on going so there is no reason for him to persist

he must have had a mechanical, though, to end up this far behind?! The bike change later on would support that as well.

No, I just have an Eurosport subscription in Germany.

Is it included in your TV cable package with a log in to watch it on devices? That's what I used to have but I ended up cancelling all cable subscriptions and switched over to GCN for just £40 a year.
