Could have taken rosa today. But it would require him to actually work instead of wheelsucking. And of course he sprints for 2nd. Valverde would be proud. Bora turning into peak Movistar. Carapaz has it in the bag. Loser mentality won´t beat him.
If there is any team not riding with a loser mentality today it’s Bora. If we have any team to thank for this first great stage in the Giro it is them.

Hindley also the only real leader that worked in the chase behind Carapaz.

Excellent stage in the end. The Carapaz versus Hindley battle set up today should be very good, Hindley has proven to have the better sprint and team by now. And we all know people like Nibali and Landa will add some spice. The hype is alive.
Richie is a better time-trialer than Hindley, but maybe not by a wide margin, depending on how much flat road is involved.

Same TT as 2019, so half of it is up and down Torricelle. You'd expect one of them will drop the other at some point though so I doubt it will come down to that, maybe if Almeida or Landa claws his way back.

Peak Movistar was winning 6 Tours, 2 Giros, and 2 Vueltas in a 10 year span. I’d take those results 9 times out of ten.
