I think the wet descent might have actually helped Almeida there, it looked like the GC guys took it a bit easy on the descent once it hit the wet roads.

Good battle. Hindley looking very strong. Landa in good shape. Carapaz still the leader, but just by 3 seconds. Almeida not dead, yet. Shark still fighting. The Ineos squad is good support but not the dominant train of old. Great win by Hirt.
