Because nothing is happening, so why show the peloton? At least give the guys in the breakaway the credit of tv coverage, so I think it's fine not to show the peloton unless someone crashes or is getting dropped etc.

The main peleton has been reduced from 100 riders to 20 riders at the Passo del Vetriolo and they just showed five seconds of Valverde... For me it´s also interesting to see if key domestiques from the GC contenders are dropping. So for me it´s pretty annoying not to see this..
